Important to know before you apply

If you have a fee-assisted mortgage, you will not need to pay for your first standard valuation 
If your mortgage is not fee-assisted, you’ll need to pay for your valuation. You’ll need to pay this before your mortgage completes
We will book the valuation as soon as we begin to process your application, unless you tell us not to
Once a valuation has taken place, you’ll need to pay for it. We can't refund the fee even if your mortgage does not go ahead.
The price of a mortgage valuation varies depending on the value of the property.

Extra fees

Sometimes a re-inspection is needed before all or part of the loan can be released. If a re-inspection is needed, we'll charge you an additional fee of £35 for each re-inspection
If we need to carry out a Property Assessment, we'll charge you a fee of £85.
